Working On A Dream by Bruce Springsteen

Radio Nowhere? These songs are going nowhere on your radio. I wasn't expecting much out of this to begin with, so I'm not coloring myself disappointed. Especially when I read a couple of months ago from sources that the songs were going to be leftovers from his previous CD "Magic". Those sources were correct. It's hard to expect a lot out of a 59 year old musician though. Most are retired by that age. As for this CD, most of the songs sound like 1960s pop music. What's even worse is that the songs are not lyrically great either which has always been Bruce's strong-suit. The album sucks what can I say. (1/28/2009)
Positives: "The Wrestler" is a very good track (movie soundtrack song) and may be the only song on here that I like.
Negatives: Hardly any Clarence Clemons (sax) and Roy Bittan (piano)....too much Soozie Tyrell (violin).
